Written History
In the beginning, the House of Krazees consisted of "E.X.P" (now Monoxide Child formerly known as Hektik) and "Big J" (who now goes by Jamie Madrox.) The R.O.C., at that time was in a group called "Strength Productions," which was a group that consisted of him, his cousin Evol (who was then known as "Big Father Hightop") and "J HO" under which they dropped an L.P. R.O.C., Jamie, and Paul always hung out together and Jamie and Paul asked R.O.C. if he would do a cut with them. R.O.C. accepted. As they began working together as a trio, they had made a whole album. Realizing their success together, they were like "Wanna be a group?" and thus the House of Krazees was made.
Their debut album, "Home Sweet Home" (released only on cassette) was made and released in Fall, 1994. As Jamie stated at that time, "We didn't have shit for money but we managed to sellenough of the cassettes to have the spirit to continue." Also in 1994, Mr. Bones (Jamie) hooked up with Death Lock and Looney Toon to do a one time project which was entitled "Mr. Bones and the Sons of Midnight: The Demon Inside." In the summer of 1994, House of Krazees released an L.P. entitled "Home Bound." Next, during October, they released "Season of the Pumpkin," which was actually a double album. During this time, Krazie (now known as Skrapz) and Psycho-C (now known as Blaze) hooked up and formed a group called "2 Krazy Devils" and R.O.C. did all of their production work at Red House Studios.
A year had passed and in that time the House of Krazees had "juggled more investors than a cheap hooker juggles balls" until they came across a fine "snake" name Walter Stepananko. Stepananko claimed to know a lot about the recording business and this is a really big reason for the original break up of the House of Krazees. Stepananko complained a lot about not making enough money and referred to the House of Krazees as a "bad investment." For some reason, he just kept financing the recording of their music and never paid them a dime.
From Jamie Madrox's point of view, this is how he viewed this time in House of Krazees:
"In my 4 years with HOK, I made a total of . Now, ya don't need a calculator to figure out that ain't shit! Times got so rough that I had to get a job cleaning toilets just to make some loot but still kept recording for the snake all the while! I'm a musician, not a ------' janitor! So ---- yeah, I want everybody's money, an even trade, phatt music for phatt bucks, just like any other job or career! Do you think I used to clean toilets 'cause it was fresh? HELL NO, I did it 'cause I needed that green! We've also been accused of bein' lazy! Making an album or even recording is not an easy job, if it was, everyone would have one out! A lot of time, and hard work goes in that and if were lazy, we wouldn't have 8 releases and a compilation album under our belts in a 5 year span, think about it! We're not claiming to be stars or anything like that, we're doin' what we like to do, music! Our music, our way! We've just begun to shine! We don't think we're the shit 'cause "We've always thought we were the shit" we just never had the right opportunity to show what we could do with our own music in our own way, like we have with Twiztid and the proper management! To sum it all up, we built HOK and we had every right in the world to destroy it!"
During 1995, Mr. Bones released his first and only solo album entitled "Sacrifice" in early Spring on Brain Dead records. Also during this year, the House of Krazees released their first E.P. entitled "Outbreed" with a slight genre change. Simultaneously, "2 Krazy Devils" had a name change to "Sleepwalkaz" and were working on a full length E.P. entitled "In Our Dreamz." In the next year, 1996, R.O.C. released his first solo album entitled "R.O.C. X-Posed" under Latnem Intertainment.
In the late Spring of 1997, the House of Krazees released their L.P. "Head Trauma" under Latnem Intertainment. Sleepwalkaz was no longer and Skrapz began working on a solo project and a side project with Demigodz, Powda (now known as "Freeze") and Seizure. Also, during this year of 1997, R.O.C. joined the Omen Tour with Insane Clown Posse and convinced them to allow his group, the House of Krazeees, to preform on the following tour: "All Up In Yo Face." Before the break up of the House of Krazees, they released a greatest hits album "Remix and Rewind" also known as "Collector's Edition '97" and then parted ways.
As Jamie and Paul moved on to be Jamie Madrox and the Monoxide Child of Twiztid, R.O.C. went on to form a group called The Howse and released an album called "Esohpromatem." The members included R.O.C., Beast, Armageddon, Pimpette, Mr. Vitology, and Shang-Hi. The Howse disbanded in 1998 and R.O.C. moved on to be known as SOL.
In 1998, SOL and his new partner Skrapz came together to reclaimed the House of Krazees name and to do a one/last time release under this name, originally entitled "Season of the Pumpkin 2." As time came closer to the release of this new album, they decided to change the name to "The Night They Kame Home" which was in released February 1999. After this release, SOL and Skrapz left Latnem Intertainment to create their own Indy label called "Virus Independent." Under Virus Independent, they released a rare/free "Virus Shit Sampler" tape. Soon after this, they released their maxi-single called "Serial Killaz."
